Memories of Charles Raffel
The day Charles Jr.went to heaven 12-24-1997. No more strong hugs, cute laughter and the feeling that "life" is okay. There goes the core of my being and the laughter in my soul. And for the people that were close to us, my father died on 12-27-1997 at age 43, after Hospitalized at Mt. Carmel for one month. So, in my eyes it forever will be, my brother came for my dad 3 days later as Jesus rose 3 days later. How else could such a loving family, loose half the members in three days? At the end of it all I have become an RN to help others as they have helped my family. I must say I never had respect for nurses till my father died. Actually at the time all this happened I was at Ohio State for Biochemical Engineering. My next move is Emergency Medicine. Arizona & Mom here I come! I can't wait til I meet with Charles Sr. & Charles Jr. again! At least I have saved lives out of the result of those lost. God Bless. Please remeber The Raffel's! Mmmwah!
Charles Raffel was a jokester, athletic, smart and would probably yell at me for boasting about him. He was also loving and shy, and no matter what He will always be with me! Love always, Sister Neva & Mom Betty
